Community Life is an important and integral part of the Women's College that seeks to promote both the academic and personal growth of Brenau students. In our residence halls and sorority houses, we strive to create a comfortable atmosphere of living and learning. While educating students about their rights and responsibilities as members of a community, we facilitate growth and development through wellness-based programs, leadership opportunities, and staff interaction. Our intent is that all residents feel a sense of belonging and in turn, foster that sense in others.

Residence Hall Life

Each floor or house has an upper-class student who lives with the residents and provides leadership, information, and assistance to residents in the creation of an environment conducive to group living.

The Community Advisor (CA) is responsible for articulating and enforcing the policies and procedures of the university.  The CA is trained to handle crisis situations, make appropriate referrals, and provide social and educational opportunities in the halls and houses.

The Residence Life Coordinators are live-in, professional members of the residence life staff who live in and administrate the halls and houses, supervise the CAs, and are available to all residents.  The coordinators work together to create and implement a comprehensive residence life program.
