The Brenau Honor Pledge

"I pledge myself to Brenau by refraining from every form of dishonesty in university life, and will strive to create a spirit of honesty and honor on campus. Failure to do so is considered a breach of trust toward the faculty and student body. I accept this pledge as my way of life, and will thereby uphold it.

This Honor Pledge is not destroyed by infractions of the code; it is damaged when violations are tolerated. It is a violation to lie, to cheat, to plagiarize, to steal or damage the property of others or of the university, to cause physical harm, to violate student government regulations, or to violate State or Federal laws."

The Brenau Honor Code

Every member of the Brenau student body will play a part in the success of campus democracy and support to the honor system. It is essential that a code of conduct that insures personal integrity in academic pursuit, as well as personal and community living, be demanded. A Brenau student is expected to abide by this code of conduct and by the designed Student Government Association rules and regulations. By matriculating to Brenau Women's College, every student accepts the Brenau Honor Pledge and the responsibility to maintain the honor and trust that is the spirit of the Honor Code.
