Alpha Chi's

Involvement on Campus

"How wonderful is it that nobody needs to wait a single
moment before starting to improve the world." - Anne Frank

Alpha Chi Omega is involved with Philanthropy work for three major organizations including the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, Victims of Domestic Violence, and the MacDowell Colony.

  • The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation exists to support Alpha Chi Omega's mission of providing lifetime opportunities for friendship, leadership, learning and service for women of all ages by raising and distributing funds for charitable and educational grants.

  • Alpha Chi Omega supports Domestic Violence Awareness nationally and our local charity is the Gateway House, a shelter for domestic abuse victims.

  • In recognition of our fine arts heritage, we also support the MacDowell Artists Colony of New Hampshire. The MacDowell Colony provides an environment in which creative artists are free to pursue their work without interruption. The Colony was founded in 1907 and largely carried forward by Marian Nevins MacDowell (Zeta, New England Conservatory of Music), wife of composer Edward MacDowell.
MacDowell Colony was the very first altruistic project of Alpha Chi Omega.
